Opera Bosco

Opera Bosco

Lazio - A visit to OperaBosco, a team-building sculpture workshop, is an unconventional pleasure. This living museum in northern Lazio advocates use (and reuse) of natural forest materials in sculptures using all non-mechanized means; the projects are beautiful, curious, and thought provoking!

Opera Bosco

A giant bird nest here, a tufo carving there - hiking through the forest combines wild flowers, magnificent views and very sympathetic sculptures. Bring good shoes and water--- the dirt trail takes you up and down the river's banks and lasts about 90 minutes.

Opera Bosco

Opera Bosco, founded and run by Ann, a friendly French expat who speaks Italian and English, is in its 27th year. Alumni of OperaBosco continue to live in and around Calcata. If you are a photographer, there is not a bad angle anywhere. Well worth a visit. www.operabosco.com
