I have never seen this but reading the article as it is articulated sound so exciting. I would love to be able to see it. It is nice too that history is kept alive and from what I have been reading the Italians in Italy do a wonderful job at it. I feel like I have missed so much of my heritage. Nice to have this notebook to teach and keep us informed. Thank you. If anyone knows or finds a place to view such pictures and possibly a video I would love to know. Thank you, Angelina

This brings back childhood memories of beautiful horses, dashing riders, well-groomed men and women and polite clapping (so as not to scare the horses).

I saw this event years ago when I first came to Rome to live, but it is still very fresh in my memory, especially that last final charge! As you say, it's a wonder someone doesn't get knocked off his horse, or run through by a passing rider! Truly memorable! Katherine S. Harris

We witnessed a tiny version of this at the beginning of Bomarzo's Palio in April, and thought there must be some historical reference. We had less than a dozen men and it was thrilling, so Sienna's version must be fabulous!
